I have been Debbie’s vet for at least ten years and through that time have got to know her and her canine family very well. When she told me she was hoping to enrol on the course, I had no hesitation in offering to write a reference for her, as a more dedicated champion to cause of canine health and welfare I have yet to meet! I feel she is ideally suited to undertaking this sort of work, not only because her commitment to learning will be unwavering but also because she has a deep understanding of dogs and their needs. It is my hope that her successful training in this field will also enable me to refer suitable patients to her as no such facility exists in our immediate area at this time.

I was amazed at how Diesel Dog relaxed and let Debbie work on him virtually straight away. Diesel is quite an active dog and doesn’t settle down very easily, so seeing him laid flat out enjoying a massage from Debbie was quite wonderful. Looking forward to Diesel having one of these sessions again soon.... and maybe Colin our other dog! Thanks Deb you’re a star.
Jan Secker September 2015 ………………………………………………………………………………………… As a search dog, Scrappy is trained to trust humans and work in collaboration with us; however since his accident and resultant surgery, he is reluctant to let anyone other than his immediate family to touch his injury site. Scrappy is very laid-back in Debbie’s hands and will allow her to flex his limbs and muscles through their fullest range and extent with only the odd turn of the head from time-to-time. I feel Debbie’s love of dogs is evident in her approach to Scrappy and her natural empathy is detected by him, allowing him to trust her. The music Debbie plays helps Scrappy to chill and I quite like the chilled-out atmosphere of the treatment sessions. His motion and movement appears freer and more fluid. He has started sprinting again, which I haven’t seen since his accident! I like that our sessions have been either at the start or the end of a week which chills Scrappy down after a busy week / weekend. He does appear freer in motion, which is a BIG plus to me as a professional handler. Lee Aspery, (County Durham & Darlington Fire and Rescue Service), October 2015 …………………………………………………………………………………………
Debbie had 3 sessions with Diesel our 9yr old weimy after an injury to his leg. Debbie spotted things overlooked by our vet and returned our limping pooch back to his puppy like self. Now struggling to keep him under control as he is full of it. Thanks Debbie, got my Diesel dog back thanks to you

My puppy hurt his hind leg at a very crucial growing period. I thought he would be injured for the rest of his life. It was so bad Debbie saw him every week for about a month and now at nine months you would never know he had been hurt. Thank you for all you did for Pip the pup your work is magic and he is a testament to your skills

Taken a dog to Debbie not long ago. She was brilliant, very thorough. The dog is not a soft cuddly dog. He was quite tense and wouldn't lie down. By the time Debbie finished he was laid out totally relaxed. The lameness the vet referred him for cleared up a few days later. He is back working and trialing. Very impressed and will take him back. Thank you Debbie

This was taken with permission from an email received from Tilly's mum when booking in for her next appointment: ....one day she struggled for a few yards then sat down. She was a bit better when I persevered with her walk it seemed to ease. Then after that she was great even today she is still doing well. People can't believe she is walking so well. She walks 100% better (although still has a slight limp). She has even started RUNNING for her ball again. So we have decided to give her another session with you to keep this improvement going.
