Welcome to Out of Step Canine Whole Body Health
Out of Step Canine is run by myself Debbie Williams.
I am a qualified Clinical Canine Massage Therapist and WEBB practitioner (Whole Energy Body Balance). Combining various soft tissue techniques suitable for all ages and breed of dog I am able to aid overall muscular skeletal balance, rehabilitate muscular injuries as well as provide support and natural pain relief for orthopaedic conditions such as Arthritis. Hands on therapy is also very important in preventative and maintenance care of your dog. I have had a passion for dogs all my life, and currently have a family of five. I have competed in agility for a number of years and all of my dogs have taken part at various levels from fun to qualifying for the ABC Finals (Anything But a Collie agility competition). I mostly enjoy just walking with them in our spare time, these days. I have always had an interest in complementary therapies, physiology, and natural feeding, and take a holistic approach in the care of my own dogs. After discovering the benefits of massage for my old girl Breeze, I embarked on a two year journey to complete the Clinical Canine Massage Therapy Diploma, with Natalie Lenton of the Canine Massage Therapy Centre and founder of the Canine Massage Guild. I qualified as a WEBB practitioner in 2019 which further enhances the therapy. Over a number of years I have been privileged to attend sessions under Dennis Bartram (My husband's Amatsu mentor, see 'something for you' tab) which has enabled me to develop my practice further in order to offer gentle yet effective holistic methods to dogs. WEBB is very much about listening and responding to the dog, which resonates with my approach, treating each one as an individual. My journey doesn't end there, as I continue to learn and understand the needs of our dogs. Based between Bishop Auckland and Barnard Castle, in Co Durham, I see dogs from all over the North East, parts of Yorkshire and Cumbria. |
My Inspiration - Our Dogs
|

I am passionate about dogs and their health. Dogs have given me so much over the years.
I want to give them something back; they deserve nothing less.
